Al Shaya-sponsored Tamanna.com launches in Kuwait

Kuwait-based startup TAMANNA has announced the launch of its online shopping site tamanna.com with support from Alshaya Group. The project has been ongoing since 2020 and was created to look after a whole section of the population that was forgotten.

“TAMANNA fills a gap in the local Kuwaiti region to allow fashion-conscious customers to explore their favourite international brands all at one online destination, locally (the way they might shop at their favourite shopping mall),” said Saleh Alshaya, Sponsor of TAMANNA.

The online shopping portal will play host to brands including American Eagle, Footlocker, The Body Shop, Victoria’s Secret, NYX, and Mothercare.

Luxury brands have their own e-commerce platforms set up, but the entire purpose of tamanna.com is to bring all their latest collections of these brands under one platform. Along with that, TAMANNA has in-house fashion and beauty experts that create editorial stories and hand-picked collections, with trends and how-to’s to motivate customers and grow the community.

The startup has dedicated itself to ensure customers are consistently being put above everything through their service and diverse range of products that cover a large audience with the convenience of a Click-and-Collect option.

“TAMANNA’s vision is to become a place where customers can be inspired by the latest in curated fashion and beauty styles and trends. With exceptional customer service and user experience, TAMANNA lives by the simple promise to its customers – Your Wishes. Delivered.” Said Saleh Alshaya.

The company plans on socially engaging with the fashion and beauty influencers of Kuwait, to spread the awareness on how a digital shopping experience is the new way to shop.
