Yoku Moku opens two new stores in UAE

Yoku Moku, the Japanese confectionary brand, has announced the opening of two new signature stores – at Al Ghurair Centre (Dubai) and Al Qasba (Sharjah) –to keep the promise of operational expansions in the UAE and to further boost its business accomplishments.

This addition increases the existing number of Yoku Moku stores in the UAE to 17 from its earlier count of 15 stores.

“We are thrilled to announce that we have expanded our reach to more people through these new stores in Dubai and Sharjah. We assert that behind the Yoku Moku brand stands a genuine wish to bring warmth to every house with each box of its distinguished delights. Our aim is to reach out to people with rich and delicate mouth-melting flavour and further build on the brand popularity by adding more stores by the first quarter of next year,” says Ehab Al Bakri, COO at Alsa Lifestyle.

Yoku Moku started in 2012 with a small exclusive customer base in Abu Dhab. “The confectionary sees a huge demand and room for growth in the UAE and plans to magnify the business throughout Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan in 2015 and then Bahrain, KSA and Oman in 2016,” Bakri adds.

Yoku Moku plans to open more stores in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain in coming few months. Alsa Lifestyle & Apparel, which is the retail arm of Al Sayegh Group Trading LLC Abu Dhabi, is the exclusive distributor of Yoku Moku in the region.
