Meraas launches contactless curb side pickup

La Mer

Dubai-based developer, Meraas has launched a new contactless curbside pickup service. This service will keep customers connected to local retailers and restaurants across its properties – including City Walk, La Mer and The Beach.

Meraas’ new customer-centric initiative offers a convenient way to continue shopping from local, home-grown brands. The participating outlets include Mitts and Trays, BLK Cab Coffee, Catch 22, Aprons & Hammers, Eggspectations and Urban Seafood, among others.

The curbside pickup service enables customers to collect orders from their favourite stores at a reduced wait time, through a simple, contactless three-step process – order, arrive and receive.

Orders can be placed with the store of choice via one of their points of purchase – website, phone call, or the brand’s app. A store representative will contact the customer with their order, the time their order will be ready for collection, and from which location. When customers arrive at the agreed location, they can contact the store via their preferred contact method. And a store representative will bring the order to the car; while customers will pay using any cashless technology method.

In line with Meraas’ implementation of all government-mandated measures taken to safeguard the health and well-being of their staff and customers across their destinations, the pick-up points will also be rigorously sanitised as part of the on-going disinfection and sanitisation cycle scheduled every two hours across all Meraas destinations.
