Homegrown luxury brand Level Shoes launches pre-loved buyback service

Chalhoub Group’s retail concept dedicated to designer shoes and accessories Level Shoes is stepping into the sustainable luxury segment with the launch of Level Shoes Pre-Loved Buyback service along with complimentary concierge service.

At the end of last year in celebration of its 10th anniversary Level Shoes launched ‘Pre-Loved powered by Reflaunt’, a unique service that enables customers to purchase rare, luxury, second-hand pieces. From this month onwards, customers will also be able to sell their designer bags, shoes, small leather goods and accessories through the Level Shoes website and receive either cash or store credit.

“With the launch of Pre-Loved Buyback, Level Shoes aims to enrich the high-fashion space by giving luxury pieces a second life. It also allows our customers to invest in something new from the brand’s exciting offering and gives those who buy something pre-owned from Level Shoes access to countless pieces that are unlike anything else they own,” said Elisa Bruno, Managing Director of Level Shoes.

The growing demand towards pre-loved luxury items in the GCC can be attributed to several factors in addition to sustainability, including the visible and increasing influence of western styles in the region, as well as the growing trend amongst luxury brands who have begun trading in pre-owned items in order to preserve their distinctive identity and meet consumer demands.

“This is the launch of a game-changing platform for luxury in the region. Listening to our customer’s growing demand to buy and sell pre-owned luxury styles, we have worked to provide the most reliable, flexible and secure service whilst showcasing the ultimate offering from fashion’s favourite names. Not only do we handle all pieces with the most care, and personally collect the items to be sold, but we present them in the best way possible on our website and mobile app,” added Rani Nasr, General Manager – e-commerce.
