Yoku Moku opens three new stores in the UAE

June 18, 2015 | By RetailME Bureau

Japanese confectionary brand Yoku Moku – brought to the GCC by Alsa Lifestyle & Apparel LLC, the retail arm of Al Sayegh Group – has opened three new stores in the UAE, further consolidating its GCC presence. The new outlets are located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain and reflect the continued success of the brand with Middle Eastern audiences following the opening of a Kuwait store in April 2015.

“Since 2012, Yoku Moku has experienced tremendous growth in the region, with our recent Kuwait opening and now a further three branches in the UAE. We are confident that Yoku Moku will continue to grow from strength-to-strength. We’re looking at Qatar as our next market,” shares Ehab Al Bakri, COO, Alsa Lifestyle & Apparel LLC.

Yoku Moku believes that making luxury Japanese confectionary from the finest high quality ingredients is a creation, not a production. The brand has developed to encompass over 300 stores across the world and is best known for its all-natural, freshly made light butter cookies.
