Completing the first phase of its expansion, Jeddah-based Red Sea Mall has unveiled a ‘smart’ parking lot.

Developed with an SAR60 million-worth budget, the smart parking lot is spread across 36,000 sqm, rising up to six floors in height offering parking space for over 1,500 cars. It will also include elevators and numerous services to mall visitors and employees to elevate the shopping and entertainment experience at Red Sea Mall.

Commenting on the smart building, Mohammad IB Alawi, CEO, Red Sea Markets Co. owner of the Red Sea Mall, says, “Our objective is to increase the mall visitor capacity to 22 million annually. We were keen on investing the latest technology into the mall’s commodities to ensure visitor satisfaction and delight, including interior and exterior parking lots, which lead to the two main gates of the mall through the ground and first floors ensuring easy access.”

The second phase of the mall’s expansion is already in progress, Alawi reveals, which will include developing the mall’s building up to high niche standards, bearing in calculations revival of the services offered to the visitors. This prompt expansion is to further reinforce Red Sea Mall’s status as the most prominent landmark in Jeddah for its locals and visitors.
