The International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) has named Red Sea Mall, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as a Silver winner in the Traditional Marketing category at the 2015 Middle East and North Africa Shopping Centre and Retailer Awards, recognising the region’s most innovative shopping centres for outstanding achievement in marketing, design and development and retail categories.

Red Sea Mall received accolade for its annual ‘Orphan Iftar Banquet’ initiative, which encourages generosity, kindness and hope for a brighter future, enriching the lives of both orphans and the community sponsors.

“This win is a testament to the quality and spirit of innovation that drive Red Sea Mall’s leadership in the retail industry, not only in Saudi Arabia, but the entire region,” says Mohammad Alawi, CEO of Red Sea Markets, one of Jeddah’s landmark shopping centres.

“We will continue to be a home away from home for every possible facet of the local community and national and international tourists, who will find events, promotions and brands that meet their tastes on any given day,” he adds.
