Consumer electronics retailer National Store launched its flagship outlet at Khalidiyah Mall in Abu Dhabi. The 3000 sqft multi-brand showroom is National Stores’ biggest outlet in terms of size, featuring a wide variety of consumer electronics besides offering hands-on experience for customer satisfaction.

The brands featured at the new National Store branch include Canon, SanDisk, Moser, Crownline, KZEN and Manfrotto, among others.

“This is our seventh showroom in the UAE and we plan to launch more such stores. We are planning to launch the next store in iMall, Sharjah, soon,” says Salah Khoory, general manager, National Store. “At National Store, we believe in a strong customer relationship, and this is why we put a lot of focus on hands-on experience so that the consumer is not only satisfied with the purchase, but also picks up tricks of the trade from experts when shopping at our stores. We are also offering exclusive opening deals besides complimentary check & clean service for Canon DSLR users until June 15.”

“The UAE retail environment is thriving quite well, and it is an appropriate time to expand, particularly opening stores in malls. UAE is known for its happening mall culture, and is the go-to place for most people since it provides easy access to commodities besides vast variety under one roof. A number of consumers end up shopping from brand outlets at malls, since they can club their shopping with other entertainment activities and can shop at leisure. Moreover, the increasing number of tourists is also adding to the country’s retail revenue,” he adds.

“We also feel that instead of taking the business online, keeping a store physically works better, since electronic goods buyers generally like to personally examine the product, get the feel and try it out before making the purchase,” Khoory observes.

Commenting on National Store’s foray into Khalidiyah Mall Livio Fabi, the mall’s general manager, says, “It’s really great to have National Store on board with us. Putting up a conceptual store requires immense passion, commitment and innovative vision besides investment and National Stores has done a wonderful job. Given the range of photography brands and related accessories, mobility, home appliances and beauty products available on offer, we hope this will bring more footfall to the mall and cater to customers from amateurs to experience enthusiasts.”

Besides Abu Dhabi, National Store has four outlets in Dubai, one in Fujairah and one in Ras Al Khaimah.
