McDonald’s Pick-Up Service

McDonald’s UAE launches pick-up service to allows customers to order their meals in advance, with a convenient option to suit their schedule.

By the “Pick-Up Service” option on the McDonald’s app, customers will be prompted to pick their meal options and restaurant of choice, where their order will be waiting when they arrive, safely packed and ready to go.

The innovative service, which is a new addition to the McDonald’s app in the UAE, is in keeping with the brand’s customer-centric ethos. Earlier in the year, McDonald’s UAE implemented contactless delivery, which included cashless payment and social distancing drop-offs to ensure the safety of both its customers and delivery drivers. The new pick-up service has been designed with convenience in mind for those who want their desired menu items without the wait.

As McDonald’s UAE launches pick-up service, general manager Walid Fakih said, “Over recent months we’ve seen double-digit growth in orders placed via the McDonald’s app. With this in mind, it allows us to tailor our business offering to meet our customer’s needs, and the pick-up service is a great example of that. With convenience at its core the service offers another way for our customers to get their hands on their favourite McDonald’s meals on the go.”

“We appreciate that now more than ever people are time conscious which is why the pick-up service provides a wait-free solution, whilst guaranteeing the same high level of service and safety standards that our customers expect from our restaurants,” he added.

The pick-up service is now live on the McDonald’s app with the collection available at all McDonald’s restaurants across the UAE.
