Plotos launches online healthy grocery section in the UAE

Plotos, the first digital nutrition and wellness platform for healthy food in the region created and endorsed by dietitians, is now making healthier eating even easier for UAE residents. The platform has launched an all-new healthy grocery section, with a nutritious selection of products handpicked by wellness experts.

The new grocery delivery service complements Plotos’s ground-breaking platform, which includes tailored nutritional programmes and a healthy food delivery service, and aims to suit UAE-dwellers’ busy lifestyles and addresses the city’s growing obesity crisis.

“In addition to the seven unique healthy food programmes Plotos has, we’ve been able to achieve a great milestone within our journey and launch a dedicated healthy grocery section that aims to provide UAE residents with a wide range of products that vary from bakery items, beverages, cereals and grains, to pantry staples, snacks, spreads, fresh produce and gluten-free items. All of that, in only four months from our official launch,” says co-founder Nadine Tayara.

“The grocery delivery service is the next step for the Plotos platform as we continue to innovate and tailor our offerings to meet the exact needs of the community. By making shopping for healthy food so much easier and more convenient, which can be accessed via the Plotos online platform and smartphone app Plotos,” adds Tayara.

With the same price points as regular supermarkets, the new Plotos grocery service is quick, convenient and hassle-free. The company has teamed up with a wide range of premium local suppliers, such as My Quality and Convenient, HeArtiGrb, Encas, Hapi, The Clean Living Company, Mix & Muesli and Skinny Delights by Right Bite, to offer customers the best choices, combined with Plotos’s attention to detail and bespoke customer service.

“We are very proud to launch this exciting new phase of the Plotos nutrition and wellbeing platform,” states co-founder Maria Abi Hanna. “We are on a mission to address the obesity statistics here in the UAE and help people of all ages and backgrounds discover a healthier new lifestyle. With over nine vendors so far, our new grocery section enables our users to make healthier choices in a quick and convenient way that perfectly suits their busy lives.”

A partnership between nutritional consultancy KeepEATreal and Eniverse Technologies, Plotos launched in the first quarter of 2017, with the aim of creating a user-friendly platform that addresses the health and wellbeing needs of UAE residents from all walks of life.
