New York-based cult burger Black Tap is all set to expand its city-wide portfolio with a soon-to-open third venue in Dubai Festival City.
The new outlet is in responding to consumer demand to Black Tap’s famous craft burger creations and monster CrazyShake milkshakes and is locating at the waterfront level of the InterContinental Dubai Festival City in early December.
“Our first two venues in Dubai are both runaway hits, and we’re so excited to share the Black Tap love across the city for more of the Dubai’s residents and visitors. Our third Dubai venue means the city’s residents will never have to travel more than 20 minutes to find their closest Black Tap,” says Chris Barish, Black Tap owner and restaurateur.
“Right from our early discussions on bringing Black Tap to the UAE, we were confident residents would love our CrazyShake milkshakes and craft burgers. Our new location in Dubai Festival City puts Black Tap front-and-centre in an area of the city which is undergoing a regenerative transformation. We are very excited about this opportunity to enrich and expand Black Tap’s success story in the UAE,” adds Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of the Sunset Group – the Black Tap franchise owners in the Middle East and Europe.
Black Tap’s cool, downtown New York vibe fills each location from the design to the music. Custom street art found in every Black Tap, and renowned graffiti artist, Fumero, a long-time Black Tap creative collaborator in the US, will create a signature mural for the new InterContinental Dubai Festival City outlet, his first in the UAE. Fumero will use his unique street art creation, dubbed Fumeroism, to promote family dining.
