GymNation is now open

Dubai’s newest home-grown, affordable fitness concept GymNation officially opened for business over the weekend welcoming its 5,000 founder members.

The newly built facility plans to disrupt the market owing to its affordable and flexible membership fees and added another ‘first’ to its list by becoming Dubai’s only 24/7 gym that offers a world-class facility with membership starting from as low as AED199 per month.

At 45,000 sqft GymNation is one of the largest gyms operating in Dubai, packed with over 500 pieces of latest generation Matrix equipment, three dedicated studios with over 200 classes per month all as part of the monthly membership. GymNation will also provide members with affordable personal training resources and GO2MAX branded boot camp sessions. Additionally, members will benefit from access to Fuel-Up by Kcal, the exclusive in-house café operator and nutrition partner, through cross-complementary offers and discounts.

“It’s a very exciting time for the fitness industry in Dubai and we are pleased to have brought a new and disruptive concept to the market. The success of our pre-sell has validated what we believed to be a real gap in the market for an affordable fitness concept. Add to this the fact that 1/3 of our members are first time gym goers means we have already started to make a positive social impact,” says Loren Holland, founder, GymNation.

“Considering Dubai gym fees are second most expensive in the world at an average of $119, this makes GymNation’s fees more than 50% less than the majority, and with such a world class facility we are quickly becoming the ‘go-to’ option for gym goers across the city,” adds GymNation founder, Frank Afeaki.

The GymNation facility is located just off Sheikh Zayed Road on the Al Quoz side, next door to Bounce and 100 metres down the slip road from Times Square Mall, near FAB Metro station.
