Dubai Festival City Mall has launched Phase II of its strategic retail expansion project, which will feature more space for new fashion, lifestyle and unique dining choices overlooking the Dubai Creek.

The project will deliver an enlarged Festival Square connecting with the unique waterfront dining locations.  Familiar household names coupled with unique concepts will add to the exciting surroundings ensuring residents, families and tourists benefit from the distinctive location of Dubai Festival City Mall.

“Dubai Festival City Mall provides families, residents and tourists with the most appealing shopping, leisure and dining options. Responding to the wants and needs of our guests and retailers underpins all that we do,” says Murray Bell, managing director, Retail, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate.

“Launching the second phase of the mall’s expansion is testament to our commitment towards our stakeholders and Dubai’s growth and marks a significant milestone in our forward thinking expansion plans,” he adds.

As part of the expansion, Dubai Festival City Mall also recently welcomed another iconic global brand, H&M, which will significantly enhance its fashion retail mix. The 18,500-sqft H&M store is located on the ground level of the shopping centre’s North Crescent Walk and is a significant addition to the mall’s retail mix following the opening in June 2014of Centrepoint, Emax and Max.

“The opening of H&M’s store at Dubai Festival City Mall is a clear indication of the growing trust and confidence shown by leading regional and international retailers in our planned expansion that will further grow, enhance and strengthen our retail, leisure and dining offers,” says Bell.
