Global OConnect, the offline arm of China’s top cross-border e-commerce service provider OSell, increases its footprint in the Middle East and North Africa market by commencing operations in Dubai.
Following the success of similar operations in Russia and China the launch of the flagship showroom in Dubai scheduled to be fully operational this month is aimed to cater to Middle Eastern retailers offering a wide range of household products sourced directly from Chinese manufacturers.
Spread across 15,000 sqft and located in Dubai Investments Park, the Global OConnect showroom will be equipped with a warehouse to accommodate fast and easy fulfillment of orders. It will extend to customers logistical and financial assistance in addition to system of credit guarantee and payment collection.
“The opening of our flagship store in Dubai heralds our entry into the Middle East market. The recent move is a strategic initiative and is a strong reflection of our commitment to the Middle East retailers,” says Kevin Fenn, founder of Global OConnect. “Strategically based in Dubai, the flagship showroom will help establish a physical market place for Chinese suppliers and regional retailers to engage in commercial activity to take advantage of the geographical proximity and logistical efficiency.”
“With the new launch we expect our trading volumes to increase by 19% and our partner network by 25%”, adds Fenn.
