Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper (ADES) 2014 was inaugurated at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) with electronics brands and retailers providing exclusive deals to stoke visitor enthusiasm at the event.

Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development and organised by Dome Exhibitions, ADES debuted last year. The 2014 edition of ADES is spread across twice the exhibition space compared to 2013 and set to draw 110,000 visitors over four days, from February 26 to March 1. With around 40 exhibitors at ADES 2014, the event is anticipated to register minimum sales volume of AED50 million.

ADES provides an opportunity for brands such as Samsung, Nikon, Canon, Huawei, Sharp, Hisense and Philips to display their latest offerings across a range of electronic equipment and devices including mobile gadgets, home and kitchen appliances, home entertainment devices and technologies, computers, gaming options, GPS, office automation, cameras and camcorders, security devices in addition to accessories, back-ups and auxiliaries. Major local electronics retailers displaying their comprehensive product ranges include Sharaf DG, Emax, Plug-Ins, Costless, E-City, Grand Stores, Thomsun Electronics and Techlink.
