#AbuDhabiLovesCoffee to debut in Abu Dhabi culinary season

December 8, 2020 | By RetailME Bureau

Abu Dhabi’s homegrown specialty coffee concepts will be providing  immersive and educational workshops, pop-ups, talks and limited-edition creations throughout the city for the inaugural #AbuDhabiLovesCoffee initiative this month.

Designed to support the emirate’s rising third-wave coffee scene, the unique activation offers visitors the chance to enjoy various specialty coffee experiences at some of Abu Dhabi’s best homegrown roasters, cafes and concepts, led by UAE city guide TheHUNTR.com.

Running from 1 – 15 December, the handpicked cafes and speciality coffee gems involved in the #AbuDhabiLovesCoffee project include Bee Café; Cartel Coffee Roasters; Slash; Note Cafe; Echo; Turf Café; Food Shed; Culture Café; Café Renard; Pentagon; BuZZ by MLT, Void, La Petite Café and more. Each partner will be providing its own roster of unique micro-events (some of which will be virtual) and activations – including exclusive #AbuDhabiLovesCoffee coffee creations, which will only be available for the 2-week campaign.

The Emirati-owned Cartel Coffee Roasters will be hosting a virtual event with an influential international coffee producer, as well as a special roasting workshop series with The Koffeist.

The Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination’s Bee Café is running workshops that are both hosted by and designed for people of determination as well as the coffee curious.

Whilst foodies will love the activations at both Note Café, which features a limited-edition coffee and food tasting menu and Mirzam Chocolate Makers are running a series of workshops focussed on Japanese brewing workshops complete with its coveted bean-to-bar chocolates.

Abu Dhabi Culinary Season was launched in 2019 as a six-week festival conceived by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) to shine the spotlight on Abu Dhabi as a global dining destination home.
