The Atrium at Al Habtoor City, which is a collection of dining and entertainment experiences at the heart of a new complex, is scheduled to open ZOCO, a home-grown soulful Mexican-cum-Latin American restaurant and lounge next month.
To be situated on the second floor of The Atrium, ZOCO will be an urban, refined and ultra-cool Mexican eatery, serving soulful and reimagined traditional dishes alongside an eclectic selection of drinks and distillations in an authentically Latin American setting.
ZOCO will offer a unique ambience through the use of vibrant colours, accent walls with classic finishes and reused industrial elements alongside Latino music. It will combine the old and the new, integrating the interior design with the menu.
Commenting on ZOCO’s menu head chef Jimmy Rojas, says, “I like to respect the product and enhance its natural flavour, while playing with different textures and flavours using a variety of culinary techniques to create harmony in each dish. The guest should have a sensorial experience with my food.”
