Wendy’s opens flagship restaurant near Kite Beach

American fast food chain, Wendy’s opened its flagship restaurant in Dubai at Kite Beach on Jumeirah Road. The new restaurant is situated within the city’s hub for residents, foodies as well as beach goers. The brand-new restaurant is the Wendy’s largest restaurant in the UAE, and is now open to serve its renowned square burgers hot off the grill.

“It is a very exciting year for Wendy’s as it expands its presence in the United Arab Emirates. We have three new prime locations, including our new flagship store near Kite Beach, Jumeirah Beach Road situated in one of Dubai’s most popular food hubs,” says Phil Broad, vice president of Food & Beverage at Alghanim Industries. “Our expansion is proof of our commitment to bringing the Wendy’s experience to as many customers as possible in the Middle East. We are thrilled to be in this neighbourhood.”

The new location’s opening ceremony was attended by a number of representatives from the Wendy’s Company. Abigail Pringle, chief global development officer international attended the ceremony. “This is an exciting opening for Wendy’s as we continue to grow the brand internationally. This flagship restaurant will be the largest Wendy’s restaurant in the UAE and our franchisee, Alghanim Industries, should be very proud of this milestone. We are also thrilled that the customer experience will be top notch as the general manager of this new restaurant was named one of our Top 200 GM’s globally,” states Pringle.

Highlighting the restaurant’s key location, Rajeev Sabharwal, vice president APEMEA and international managing director, adds, “We are thrilled that there will be a Wendy’s located near Kite Beach on Jumeriah Beach Road, one of the city’s most prominent culinary locations. The opening of this flagship location is a testament to Wendy’s dedication to providing the people of UAE with fresh, quality burgers and a great dining experience.”

Operated by Alghanim Industries, one of the largest privately-owned companies in the region, Wendy’s Middle East has consistently made its mark with its ‘deliciously different’ restaurant experience.
