American fast-casual restaurant concept Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers recently opened its first international location in the UAE at The Dubai Mall. The restaurant spanning 660 sqft is located in the food court at the lower ground level of the shopping mall. The second Freddy’s opening is scheduled on July 24, 2019 at Mall of the Emirates, which will be spread across 597 sqft.

The Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers restaurants are owned and operated by Tastebuds Group, which will continue to drive the brand’s growth throughout the GCC, Lebanon and Jordan.

Talking about expansion plans for Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger, Yousef Khattar, managing director of Tastebuds Group, shares, “Altogether, we have signed up five locations. Along with The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, these include an over 2,100 sqft restaurant at Nakheel Mall on The Palm. This will be followed by a 2,800 sqft Freddy’s within the Vida Hotel opposite Emirates Hills. Finally, the fifth location will open in the Dubai Hills Mall in September 2020.”
