Sunset Hospitality Group accelerates expansion plans to open 20+ international venues in 2023

With Southeast Asia and Europe being its key focus areas of expansion beyond the Middle East, the Sunset Hospitality Group has accelerated its expansion plans to open 20+ venues across various international markets before the end of 2023.

Sunset Hospitality Group’s expansion plans in Southeast Asia will see the introduction of new brands Santana and Mamasita and regional debuts for Folie and Attiko in Indonesia. All four venues are set to launch in Q2 and Q3 2023. The Group is also actively exploring additional opportunities that may result in further portfolio brands entering the Bali market.

“We are truly delighted to announce four new venues in Bali,” said Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of SHG. “Over the course of the next few months, we will be confirming further new venues across various markets from Asia to Europe as well as North Africa, and of course more in our home region, the Middle East. This rapid and relentless acceleration is part of our long-term plan to establish a presence across multiple global destinations by the end of the year and further cement our place as one of the leading names in lifestyle hospitality experiences.”

The Sunset Hospitality Group currently has presence in over nine countries across 26+ brands. The portfolio includes METT Hotels & Resorts, Azure Beach, Ammos, Drift Beach Club, AURA, SUSHISAMBA, DREAM, L’Amo Bistro del Mare, Black Tap, Luigia, Lola Taberna Española, Goldfish, Isola, Raise Fitness & Wellness and many more. Late last year the Group secured $35 million investment from Goldman Sachs that is expected to support its ambitious expansion plans.
