Diwali 2021: Dubai retailers mark Diwali with promotions and offers

Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has announced an array of promotions that retailers from the Emirate are offering to its customers during Diwali.

“As the city bustles with Expo 2020 activity, Dubai’s malls and retail outlets have put out a range of enticing offers this Diwali for residents and visitors to enjoy. Whether they’re looking to treat themselves or buy something special for a loved one, there are a host of Diwali promotions for shoppers to avail of. As we near the festive season, there is no better time to start shopping for those special occasions,” said Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).

Some of the best shopping promotions across the city for Diwali include:

Visitors at Festival Plaza in Jebel Ali can get the Festival City Malls gift card for free when they download the Festival Rewards app. The offer runs until Saturday, 13 November.  Dubai Festival City Mall will get into the Diwali spirit with a host of wonderful offers across the mall and from a carefully curated selection of independent retailers at Ripe By The Bay. This night market will offer a number of special Diwali offers, making it the perfect place to pick up a bargain while taking in the spectacular views over Dubai Creek. Visitors to Dubai Festival City Mall will also get the chance to enter the draw and win a top-of-the-range Honda Accord EX Turbo 2021 when spending AED300 or more. The festivities will continue until Saturday, 13 November. 

The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah will be mark the Indian Festival of Lights with a special fountain show synchronized to Bollywood music on Thursday, 4 November at 8.30pm. Visitors can also enjoy up to 25 per cent off at a number of The Pointe’s restaurants. 

Bluewaters has quickly become one of Dubai’s most attractive destinations, with Ain. City Centre Deira is going all out this Diwali, with anyone who spends AED200 in with a chance of winning a gold necklace from Jawhara, or 100,000 SHARE Points. The offer runs from Thursday, 28 October to Saturday, 6 November.

Shoppers at Ibn Battuta Mall have a chance to win a brand new GAC GS4. For every purchase of AED 200 across all shops, shoppers will be given a ticket to enter the draw to win the car. The promotion will run from 29 October to 13 November and is organized in partnership with Gargash Motors

All the gold lovers will be able to avail a host of Golden Goodies on offer such as free gifts upon selected purchases, as well as 50 per cent off on select jewellery purchasers and zero making charges on select jewellery . This limited edition collection will be available at IKEA outlets from Thursday, 28 October to Thursday, 4 November. 

There will be a host of carefully curated gold décor, accents and mood lighting in the Homebox Festival of Gifting, OMG DIWALI! There is up to 40% off on all the festive home accessories in this year’s Diwali Collection, so shoppers can give their home that Homebox look without breaking the bank. The offer runs until Saturday, 13 November.

Bath and Body Works has a special edition candle for the joyous festival as well as great offers on their three-wick candles with two for AED 149 only. United Nude is running a 40 per cent off Diwali sale for their range of stunning footwear for both men and women. The sale runs from Thursday 21 October to Saturday, 13 November.

Dubai’s premier fresh food market, the Waterfront Market will celebrate Diwali this year with a wide range of activities to mark the occasion from Thursday 28th October to Friday 5th November. Visitors can enjoy a live DJ playing the best of Bollywood hits, a pop-up market of Diwali kiosks, workshops for children and Rangoli art displays where you help create the design. Those who post on social and hashtag #DiwaliatWFM will be in with a chance to win vouchers worth AED 500 from the Waterfront Market!
