200% increase in sales: Three Day Super Sale in 2023 vs. 2017

The May 2023 edition of Dubai’s bi-annual mega sale, the Three Day Super Sale (3DSS) recorded a 200% increase in sales compared to the first edition in 2017.

Presented by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the latest edition of 3DSS ran from May 26-28 that saw 559 participating brands and more than 2,500 outlets offering deals up to 90% off fashion and beauty, homeware, electronics, footwear and accessories, eyewear, gold and jewellery and more.

“The Three Day Super Sale in Dubai is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience where retailers can showcase their diverse product line-up and entice consumers with unbeatable deals. The results of the May 2023 edition of 3DSS demonstrate a significant positive impact on retail footfall and sales for participating brands and malls. With 3DSS, and other shopping festivals throughout the year, we can further strengthen Dubai’s position as a world leader in retail, providing incredible value for those living in the city and helping to attract travellers from around the world,” said DFRE CEO Ahmed Al Khaja.

Offering a retailer perspective, Pankaj Kumar, Head – Omnichannel Retail, Jumbo Electronics Co. Ltd. (LLC) added, “During the Three Day Super Sale, Jumbo witnessed a double-digit increase in footfall and sales after a weekend of 70% off on a range of Jumbo products. The raffle was a big draw as well with over 18 of our customers taking home amazing prizes.”
