UAE-based retail conglomerate Apparel Group expanded its Inclusivity Programme recruiting 52 young Emirati nationals specialising in areas including sales, marketing, human capital, administration, e-commerce and logistics. This comes as part of the Group’s growth strategy to strengthen its Emirati workforce.

Commenting on the recent recruitments, Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group said, “Apparel Group is aligned with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision to support the growth of the nation to become a hub for world-class talent. In order to contribute to the development of the UAE, we invest in local talent and foster an environment where they can utilise their skills and knowledge. In support of Emirati talent, we continually offer opportunities for them to be part of a company that’s a leading global fashion and lifestyle conglomerate.”

Currently Apparel Group has achieved more than 2% of the required Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) resolution regarding compliance with Emiratisation regulations in the private sector. The Group offers on-the-job training, job shadowing, cross-functional projects and internships for young UAE national students as part of its Internship Global programme.
