New York City based Sweet Chick, known for its signature chicken and waffles, is all set to debut in Dubai at the upcoming Sole DXB that will take place from December 6-8, 2018. Sweet Chick currently has four locations in NYC and one in Los Angeles. The brand is keen to grow with its eyes now set on Dubai, as it makes its international debut at Sole DXB.

“After attending Sole DXB last year it opened my eyes to the diversity of Dubai and I instantly wanted to be a part of it. Once Nas signed on as a headliner on the music line up, it was a no-brainer.  We can’t wait to be a part of Sole this year and introduce Sweet Chick to Dubai,” says John Seymour, founder, Sweet Chick.

Sweet Chick marks the first venture into the restaurant community for legendary Queensbridge rapper Nas, who has spent a lifetime cultivating a diverse portfolio of investments. “As an artist who understands what we represent, Nas has been an integral part in bringing Sweet Chick Life to the West Coast while continuing to grow the brand in his hometown, New York City,” adds Seymour.

At Sweet Chick, the philosophy is simple – great food, a cool vibe and interesting cocktails at a great price. Along with some of the best fried chicken and waffles from New York City, the restaurant serves ‘American cuisine with a Southern accent’. It is rustic but modern American comfort food and twists on classic dishes and cocktails, in addition to home-baked desserts.

Sole DXB’s intersection of culture, hip hop and fashion perfectly reflect the Sweet Chick brand, it’s almost like a seamless alliance for Sweet Chick’s first international debut. Open all day and night during Sole DXB, the diner will also play host to a host of daytime DJ sets, full-views of the main stage and after parties.

Sole DXB is returning this year with the support of its partners Cadillac, Dubai Design District (d3), Dubai Tourism and Sprite.
