Home-grown restaurant brand, Lime Tree Café has opened on the ground floor of The Offices at Ibn Battuta Gate.
Catering to office staff and residents in the area, the latest addition to the Lime Tree Café-family offers great food using the best ingredients, passionately prepared fresh, daily. The Lime Tree Café’s carefully crafted menu puts emphasis on fresh vegetables and fruit, grains, pulses, nuts and seeds, its own baked goods, as well as fair-trade organic teas and coffee and healthy smoothies
“The addition of the Lime Tree Café to The Offices at Ibn Battuta Gate provides our tenants with a local alternative to international food chains, offering a healthier and more sustainable F&B option for morning coffee or lunch. This will certainly contribute towards a productive and collaborative working environment at Ibn Battuta Gate,” said Abdulla Bin Sulayem, CEO, Seven Tides – owner of the Ibn Battuta Gate development.
“Office staff looking to take a break from their daily routine can choose from a variety of lunchtime dishes, from fresh sandwiches, scrumptious toasties and gourmet salads, to freshly baked goods such as the legendary café favourite – the Lime Tree Café Carrot Cake. For those starting their day early, the café has several breakfast options including organic sourdough toast, gluten free toast, cereals and granola pots,” added Corinne Bowker, managing partner – operations for Lime Tree Café.
The Lime Tree Café in Ibn Battuta Gate office building is completely plastic free, and all purchases are packaged in sustainable materials. Customers are encouraged to bring their own cup for their daily coffee or tea and receive AED2 off their purchase.
