Global Village 2020-21

Its 25 years of Global Village and the region’s multicultural theme park is getting ready to open its doors to the public from October 25, 2020 running for 25 weeks into Ramadan of 2021.

Commenting on the silver jubilee of Global Village, CEO Bader Anwahi, said, “Our 25th anniversary is a great milestone for us and the teams are working hard to make this year very special. We also feel that this is an important message for the country and the region. Over the years we have become a mainstay for family entertainment across the region, and we are proud to be able to play an important role in driving the “open for business” message.”

As its 25 years of Global Village, the fun family destination is reinforcing its status as a symbol of inclusivity and a celebration of cultural diversity, redefining how people experience culture in an exciting, accessible and safe family environment. As such, the wellbeing of guests remains Global Village’s top priority for Season 25. Global Village is already recognised for its safety record as the first theme park globally to win the “Sword of Honour” from the British Safety Council for high standards of safety management. This year Global Village is preparing to raise the bar even higher as it is working closely with local authorities and international organisations such as IAAPA. In addition, Global Village has already received the Dubai Assured Stamp awarded by Dubai Municipality, Dubai Economy and Dubai Tourism (DTCM) in light of the stringent preparations for opening.

“Whether it’s by using state of the art technology for wayfinding and contactless payment or by adapting our entertainment offerings, we are breaking new ground across all our verticals for the comfort and happiness of our guests,” Anwahi added.
