Home-grown brand muvi Cinemas will introduce Dolby Cinema in KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). The first Dolby Cinema screen will open by end of July 2020 at the U-Walk Boulevard, Arabian Centres in Riyadh.
“We are very excited to be opening Dolby Cinema and bringing the most powerful image and sound technology to Saudi Arabia. Dolby Cinema will provide a different experience for Saudi cinemagoers and will be the first of 3 screens to be added to our extending portfolio of offerings,” said Sultan Alhokair, CEO, muvi Cinemas.
Dolby Cinema promises to offer guests in the Kingdom the complete Dolby movie experience. It is designed to consider all details – from the ultra-vivid picture of Dolby Vision to immersive sound of Dolby Atmos alongside comfortable seating. With Dolby’s inspired design, the Dolby Cinema in Saudi Arabia will provide guests with the ideal movie-viewing environment from the theatre entrance to the end of the cinema story.
Arabian Centres had signed an agreement with muvi Cinemas, the first locally created cinema chain in the Kingdom. Following the partnership, muvi Cinemas will introduce Dolby Cinema in KSA and continue expanding its partnership with Arabian Centres through 2020.
