Freedom Pizza offers Visa Checkout

September 2, 2015 | By RetailME Bureau

UAE-based Freedom Pizza becomes the first Middle East brand to offer Visa Checkout, a new digital payment system that allows a ‘one-click on the credit card icon’ to order the pizza.

With benefits beyond its speed and ease, Visa Checkout offers a consistent, simple experience across any device – desktop, mobile and apps. It also comes equipped with advanced security tools, such as device fingerprinting and step-up authentication to keep the customer’s order safe, and doesn’t require you to leave Freedom Pizza’s website to complete the purchase. Visa checkout accepts all other credit cards as well.

“Digital is as essential an ingredient in our business as the fresh and healthy ingredients on our Freedom pizzas, and adding technology to our system that makes our customers’ lives even easier was worth checking out,” says Ian Ohan, founder of Freedom Pizza. “We’re delighted to be the first brand in the Middle East to offer Visa Checkout – and we think 15,000 free pizzas is a pretty cool way to celebrate with our tech savvy customers.”

Visa Checkout was first launched in July 2014 and is a quick and easy payment service to pay for goods online, on any device, in just a few clicks. The new digital payment system reduces the issues many online shoppers face in having to submit large amounts of information each time to complete a purchase online, making the checkout process faster and more convenient.
