ENOC to open 60 Paavo’s Pizza outlets in the region

UAE-based ENOC retail, the master franchisee of Paavo’s Pizza for the Middle East, has opened six stores across Dubai – Al Qusais, Al Warqa’a, Jumeirah, Nadd Al Hammar, Mushrif and Tecom, with three more set to open by the end of 2015. ENOC also has an aggressive expansion plan to open 60 outlets across the GCC, in the next five years.

The newest pizza brand to enter the region has been franchised from US-based Orion Food Systems. Paavo’s Pizza is the first pizza joint to introduce the concept of ‘five minutes pizza’ in the UAE and the region. The pizza is baked and ready in no more than five minutes after customers choose their toppings. They have the option to customise their pizza by selecting any of the 30-odd toppings at their disposal.

“It is a momentous occasion for us, as we have massive plans to localise Paavo’s Pizza across the region. We are confident that Paavo’s Pizza will be a resounding success for us,” says Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO, ENOC.

“Paavo’s Pizza is a revolutionary new product, and the fact that it can be delivered from oven to table in less than five minutes is an amazing retail proposition. There is no doubt that this innovative concept will be an absolute customer favourite,” adds Burhan Al Hashemi, managing director, EPPCO.

“Paavo’s Pizza has a rich history and we wanted to stay true to the roots of its origin. The best way to do that was to keep the pizza extremely customisable, allowing the customer to choose every single topping that goes onto their pizza,” shares Steve Watkins, CEO, Orion Food Systems, and master franchisor of Paavo’s Pizza.
