Dubai-based home-grown eatery the Lime Tree Café is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

The first Lime Tree Café came up in 2001 in Jumeriah, which started offering simple, healthy and appetising meals. It is also one of the first locations in Dubai to sell Organic Fair Trade Coffee & Tea alongside making some of its locations pet-friendly.

Over the last 15 years Lime Tree Café has expanded to three unique locations in Jumeirah 1, Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Quoz café. It is also proud to have grown from a team of 15 to 130.

“When we first established The Lime Tree Café in Jumeirah, our vision was to become the familiar neighbourhood food store that provided a cosy haven away from home,” says managing partner Corinne Bowker. “Now, to be here 15 years later with three locations in Dubai, alongside catering & events, wholesale & our provisions shops – our vision has grown more than we ever imagined or planned.”

“The great thing is Dubai gives you that platform and opportunity to create and implement your ideas. As we continue to expand, we will always strive to ensure that our eateries remain a welcoming environment with focus on wholesome quality ingredients, freshly organic roasted coffee and great service. It’s important for us to be mindful of our impact on the environment and to continue to be a positive influence in the F&B sector and the overall community in Dubai.”
