Chalhoub Group partners with Dar El-Hekma to support youth employment in KSA

Chalhoub Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dar Al-Hekma University to support and nurture local young talents in Saudi Arabia to support youth employment opportunities. The collaboration will include workshops, mentorship, trainings, and other activations to improve academic and creative abilities, in line with the University’s Student Development & Career Services Unit.

“Our Group is committed to driving nationalization, fostering talent growth, and creating platforms for youth education”, said Bachar Sabbagh, Managing Director at Chalhoub Group, KSA. “We believe that through this partnership with Dar Al-Hekma, we will contribute with our expertise to up-skill and develop Saudi youth in their career journey and at the same time contribute to enrich our talent pool as the number one Great Place to Work in KSA”.

“Dar Al-Hekma University’s vision is to graduate accomplished generations of leaders and entrepreneurs, and we are proud to partner with Chalhoub Group on this shared ambition. The Fashion Design  graduation project and the “Fashion Revival” event are the first of many exciting projects to empower youths along their professional paths,” said  Dr. Abeer Al Doghaither, President of Dar Al-Hekma University.

The first event commemorating this partnership, was the Fashion Design students’ Final Project Presentationwhen members of the Chalhoub Group were present as jury members, followed by the The Fashion Design Department Final Exhibition “Fashion Revival” held on the University campus in Jeddah on the 25th and 26th of May. The event celebrated the Fashion Design students’ successes and the conclusion of a 4-year academic journey towards their Bachelor’s degree, where Chalhoub Group curated a set of talks and panel discussions and engaged the students through a full day of presentations and the exhibition,among other activities.
