Italian fashion brand Cavalli has recently opened a branch of its Cavalli Café in Jeddah. It’s the third Cavalli Café in Saudi Arabia after two branches in Riyadh – at Rafal and Kingdom Towers – that were opened in 2014 in partnership with Mathaq, the exclusive agent of Cavalli in KSA.

During the opening ceremony of Cavalli Café, Mazen Baterji, vice chairman, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, states, “The hospitality sector has become a main tourism attraction in Saudi Arabia and world. Most of the largest cities in the world have become keen on inviting more investment in restaurant chains and cafés to expand its share in tourism. The availability of internationally known food chains reflects the stability of the country’s economic, social and national stability, which assures that tourist that is safe in the city she decides to visit.”

Besides being one of the luxurious cafés in the Kingdom, Cavalli Café has been engaged in various community social services, with a strong belief that leading companies should have a positive role in developing the society, especially in Riyadh and Jeddah through strategic partnerships.

“We believe that the true value of success lies in the effort invested in community service and developing the society. Therefore, we have made agreements with leading charity organisations in Jeddah to organise a number of charitable events regularly,” says Abulla Al Sharida, general manager, Mathaq.

“Through these activities we want to take an active role in developing our society and valuable nation through supporting different charitable, human and athletic events and activities. For example, we’ve signed up with Sanad Children’s Cancer Support Association, donating one of Cavalli dishes for a whole year in support of children fighting cancer.”
