Barcelona-born all-day dining brand Brunch & Cake is accelerating its international expansion strategy with plans to open at least 20 new outlets across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. The brand, introduced to the UAE in 2019 by Innovision Holding, is now led by UAE-based entrepreneurs Amjad Barakat and Jamal Wick under Global Restaurants, following a transformative reverse acquisition.
With strongholds in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Spain, and India, the brand is now targeting Greece, Turkey, Kuwait, and Indonesia as part of its next phase. Key upcoming launches include:
Brunch & Cake will also deepen its footprint in existing markets with new venues in Dubai’s Nakheel Mall (Sept 3, 2025), Hyderabad, Marbella, Madrid, and a third Riyadh outlet in the Diplomatic Quarter. The Nakheel Mall location will showcase the brand’s signature design flair, highlighted by a giant mermaid tail column, bespoke Peralta-designed lighting, and an open pizza kitchen.
Despite global growth, the brand maintains its focus on wholesome, generously portioned meals, regionally curated menus, and design-led, emotionally resonant spaces.
“Our global expansion is a natural evolution of what Brunch & Cake represents,” said Amjad Barakat, Co-Founder of Global Restaurants. “We’ve created a brand that connects with people on an emotional level, and now, we’re bringing that feeling to more cities around the world. Whether in Dubai, Istanbul, or across Europe, we want our guests to experience the same joy, warmth, and creativity that make Brunch & Cake feel like home.”
Brunch & Cake’s expansion strategy is driven by growing global demand for premium casual dining, especially concepts that blend design, experience, and food storytelling. The brand is also actively scouting new markets, including London and Paris, as part of its long-term positioning as a global F&B lifestyle brand.
With its mix of aesthetic interiors, comfort-first food philosophy, and locally inspired touches, Brunch & Cake continues to carve a distinctive space in the evolving international dining landscape.
