avli by tashas is the second Dubai-based licensed concept from restaurateur Natasha Sideris, founder and managing executive of tashas. This latest addition to Dubai International Financial Centre’s (DIFC) dining scene has been inspired by Sideris’s Greek heritage and passion for combining tastes, beautiful environments and impeccable service tailored to be unique reflections of specific locations and culinary traditions. avli by tashas is set to open in January 2019.
With avli, Sideris and her team have created a sophisticated yet laid-back space. It is reminiscent of modern Athenian culture and the open-air courtyards of the Mediterranean – where every meal will be an occasion, each moment a celebration. Diners can expect to journey through a menu of authentic meze, salads and slow cooked meats, prepared using the traditional souvla grill.
The adjoining yet standalone Galaxy Bar is an intimate and vibrant lounge, bathed in the deep, dark blue of the universe where guests can come together and create a universe of their own.
Sideris and her team of world-class bartenders have collaborated with METAXA, the one-of-a-kind amber spirit from Greece, to deliver a unique and aromatic cocktail menu. This partnership pays tribute to the Greek roots, revealing the authenticity of the original Greek spirit in Dubai and the inspiration behind the entire concept, as well as the decadent dark blue and gold interiors of the space.
