As part of its expansion plan in the UAE, Australian café chain The Coffee Club has added two new branches in Abu Dhabi’s Marina Mall and at the Oaks Liwa Executive Suites. The chain already has two branches in Abu Dhabi – at Yas Mall and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
“We are very excited to launch two more branches in Abu Dhabi bringing the total number of stores we have in the UAE to eight. We have plans to add six more stores by the end of the year,” says Michael Chick, general manager, Liwa Minor Food and Beverages LLC – the joint venture company of local operator Al Nasser Holdings and Thai publicly listed company Minor Food Group that brought The Coffee Club to the region as its first food brand.
“The two new locations were selected for their ease of access and popularity amongst Abu Dhabi’s residents. Since launching last year in the UAE, we have received great feedback for our coffee and food offerings and hope to win over a wider audience with the new store launches,” Chick adds.
The Coffee Club has become Australia’s largest home-grown café group with more than 360 cafés throughout 9 countries including Thailand, Egypt and China employing more than 6,000 staff.
