Amazon is reportedly planning to open hundreds of physical bookstores.
This comes close on the heels with the US retailer’s first brick-and-mortar store, Amazon Books, which was set up November last year in Seattle.
A physical extension of Amazon.com, Amazon Books offers titles that have been selected based on the e-commerce site’s own customer ratings and sales. According to Amazon, literature sold at Amazon Books will not differ in price from its online store.
