Muscat-based Totem opens its third outlet in Oman at Muscat Grand Mall. Located on the mezzanine floor, the store spans 1,615 sqft showcasing women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, bags, accessories and footwear collections. “When we first introduced Totem, we knew there was a market for our exclusive fashion labels. The interest in the brands from both residents and tourists in Oman have exceeded our expectations and, with Totem’s third store, we have both strengthened our positioning and satisfied the ever-growing market demand,” says Totem’s founder and co-owner Susan Proctor.
Along with great fashion collection, the third Totem outlet, designed by Italian architect Renato Caliò, has a unique look reminiscent of the industrial age but with a softer touch. The design, alternating wood, fabrics and steel, reproduces a cosy atmosphere with pops of colour and texture. The overall environment is a testament to Totem’s funky and modern spirit.
In 2007, Totem set up its first shop in Muscat at Jawharat Shatti Mall. In 2012 the brand launched its online shop, and last year expanded its network in Oman with a second branch in Jabel Sifah.
