TruckersDXB creates new summer experience

TruckersDXB, which pioneered the food truck movement by bringing together home-grown food concepts, has partnered with the Dubai World Trade Centre to hold its new summer experience ‘Truckers Summer Warehouse.’

After the second successful season of TruckersDXB that ran through the entire winter season, now the food trucks are being taken indoors. From July 7 to September 9, the event will take place every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4-11pm at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Featuring Truckers DXB’s signature funky industrial setup, this summer event in town will host 15 home-grown food trucks serving fusion cuisines and authentic food from all over the world. In addition to food on wheels, guests can enjoy live performances and participate in interactive entertainment for the whole family – from arts and craft market, carnival games, mechanical bull ride, jugglers, hula-hoop, face painting, to kids’ cooking station and many more.

Truckers Summer Warehouse aims to become the foodie hangout as the temperature rises in the summer. There will be something new to taste for everyone including a delicious variety of fusion dishes, revisited burgers and hotdogs, pasta and risotto, South American to Asian delicacies, in addition to all kinds of sweet desserts.

“We are excited to bring TruckersDXB and the whole community indoors for a cool activity to beat the heat. Typically, we would put the trucks in a garage and just wait for the good weather to return. From what we have witnessed in season two when our following has increased massively, we thought why not try to do something new this summer. We want to create a different type of summer destination, where all the foodies of Dubai will be able to go and hangout. Imagine a food truck festival and a party mixed together, this is what you can expect at Truckers Summer Warehouse,” says TruckersDXB creator Alexandre Teodoresco.
