ZOOM partners with Talabat for home delivery

ZOOM, ENOC Group’s convenience store concept, has partnered with the delivery platform Talabat to facilitate home delivery, thereby enhancing its e-shopping offering for customers.

The partnership follows an increased demand for online shopping, offering customers a contactless shopping experience, by delivering essential products to their homes at the click of a button. ZOOM’s expansion into online delivery comes as convenience stores look for new, safe ways to serve customers following the COVID-19 pandemic.

ZOOM’s contactless home delivery service is now rolled out at 26 locations and will be extended across all the 51 standalone ZOOM stores by end of June. Additionally, 50 ZOOM stores, located at ENOC service stations will be added to the platform by end of July, with plans to include their entire network by the end of August.

“ZOOM has continuously looked for innovative ways to offer best-in-class customer service, such as ENOCPay – a cashless, cardless payment platform. With the rise of cashless transactions following the pandemic, we have been exploring innovative ways to offer the best customer service standards while ensuring the safety of our customers and employees. Introducing a home delivery service in partnership with Talabat offers ease and convenience for customers to order groceries and aligns with the country’s broader vision to encourage cashless transactions as a safety measure in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Saif Humaid Al Falasi, group CEO, ENOC Group.

“We are thrilled ZOOM has chosen to partner with us to safely and conveniently deliver its wide range of products on the go. We share ENOC’s ambition to offer the best customer service standard and look forward to bring this new offer to our customers for their everyday needs in a safe way through our contactless and cashless delivery services,” added Muhammed Yildirim, managing director – UAE for Talabat.
