Abu Dhabi’s largest shopping mall is set to open on Yas Island in November as part of major development projects on the island. Spanning 235,000 square metres, Yas Mall will include 300 shops, and is expected to attract a large number of tourists and visitors.
“It is the largest shopping mall in Abu Dhabi, and the second by area in the UAE. Given its location and proximity to Ferrari World, it will be one of the most attractive destinations to visitors,” says Clive Dwyer, director of destination management on Yas Island.
Yas Mall is set open on the same weekend as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. According to analysts, the mall will boost the retail sector in Abu Dhabi, elevating competition with Dubai.
