Spreading joy at the labour camps this Ramadan

Online and mobile gifting platform joigifts.com has joined hands with social initiative Pink Mango Project this Ramadan. This unique collaboration allows people to use the online gifting platform to buy small tokens of appreciation for residents of the many labour camps across Dubai, to celebrate the spirit of giving during the holy month.

Gift boxes with Arabic sweets or cupcakes can be bought on joigifts.com, and joi agents will deliver them to labour camps across the city, providing a memorable experience and the sweetest of surprises to these hardworking labourers during the Iftar hour.

When placing these orders, users can also include a personalised message with their gifts. Each delivery is photographed to share the special moment with the sender. These gifts are for a good cause, and prices start at a reasonable AED20 to promote greater participation in the cause.

“The Pink Mango Project is doing some great work here in Dubai. Our goal of spreading happiness is perfectly aligned with that of joigifts.com, and we’re delighted to support them with their outreach and charitable efforts,” says Ritesh Tilani, co-founder, joi.

“Our brand has always stood for making people feel special and spreading happiness across the cities where we operate. By collaborating with Pink Mango Project this Ramadan, we’re giving joi customers a chance to acknowledge and give back to those hardworking individuals who have helped build this incredible city we call home,” adds co-founder Alper Celen.

The Pink Mango Project started in 2016 that celebrates the idea of happiness across Dubai. The project is a simple thought of a few young minds having some disposable income, wanting to contribute towards the happiness and wellbeing of society. The project aims to support the country’s vision of becoming the world’s happiest nation.

“The idea of the initiative celebrates the spirit of Ramadan in the true sense and we are glad to be able to put this forward thanks to the support of joigifts.com. This will be a great opportunity for residents to share a little slice of happiness within the community for a far greater good,” states Rohit Sharma, founder, Pink Mango Project.
