UAE’s leading home-grown convenience store chain, ZOOM, today announced plans to open five ZOOM stores on Dubai’s new Metro Route 2020 Line. The outlets will serve the needs of commuters and visitors on the new extension line which connects Jebel Ali Metro Station to the Expo 2020 Dubai site.

The new ZOOM stores are strategically located in Jebel Ali Station (formerly Nakheel Harbour and Tower), Discovery Gardens Station, Al Furjan Station, Dubai Investment Park Station, and Expo 2020 Station.

“As the Official Integrated Energy Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, we are committed to support and build the infrastructure of the country to welcome millions of people from across the world to the greatest show ever,” said His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC.

“Our long-term growth strategy for the expansion of ZOOM is to continue to serve existing and upcoming communities. We have had long-standing partnership with Dubai Metro and the expansion of our network with these new sites is a testament of our continued support to the overall Dubai 2040 plan.”

ZOOM first launched in Dubai Metro stations in 2009. Since its launch, the network has expanded to 45 stores, establishing ZOOM as metro riders preferred “on the go” stores. The five new stores will bring the number to 50 stores in Dubai Metro.

ZOOM accepts a huge variety of payment methods including VISA, MasterCard, ENOCPay, Nol Payment, Nol Top-up and Dubai Now. Customers can claim points through the YES rewards programme.

Offering convenient access to a wide range of products on the go, ZOOM has become part of the everyday life of the UAE residents. It has a variety of formats from service station C-stores to mini marts and stores on the Metro network as well as large scale standalone supermarkets in a number of residential communities and high-end locations, such as Burj Khalifa, Burj Gate, and Burj Al Salam.
