UAE-based Emke Group that operates LuLu Group is ending the year with strong expansion plans in Bahrain and India.
Following the recent opening of a major logistics centre in Manama, the group plans to open three more hypermarkets in the Kingdom. That will add 600 jobs for Bahrainis by the end of 2016 to the number of over 1,000 Bahrainis already employed across its hypermarkets and malls.
Covering 31 countries with its network of 111 retail stores, the group also plans major investments in the Malaysian retail sector.
