UAE-based multi-brand retailer Apparel Group adds yet another feather to its cap by launching its largest shoe store in the region – Shoe Gallery at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al-Nahayan, minister of culture, youth and community development, inaugurated the new store on February 3, 2016. Apparel Group chairman Nilesh Ved, vice-chairperson Sima Ved and the accompanying dignitaries and guests welcomed Sheikh Nahayan.

The 45,000-sqft store, spread across two levels, is being positioned as a one-stop destination for footwear and accessories in the region. The store is a fashion-forward concept with a head-turning new take on footwear fashion, wellness and leisure, catering to the needs of local residents as well as tourists visiting the Island.

Shoe Gallery boasts a collection of 100-plus fashion brands under one roof with an exceptional mix of in-house brands like Pedro, ALDO, ALDO Accessories, Inglot, Tommy Hilfiger, Charles & Keith, Call it Spring, TOMS, Athlete’s Co., Skechers, Birkenstock, Dune, Nine West, Anne Klein, Naturalizer, alongside other established labels such as Ralph Lauren, Crocs, Guess, Nike, Adidas, VANS, Timberland, Lacoste, Converse and French Connection to name few.

Apart from the hip young designs of footwear and accessories, the store carries many other amenities to gratify the customers’ specific wishes ranging from the ultimate shoe search to personal shoe and accessories styling, a fashion savvy team always ready to guide them through their visit, meetings with designers, customisation and embellishments, professional foot care therapy, beauty and makeup restoration, a supervised play area for kids, a Tim Hortons coffee shop and more.

Commenting on Shoe Gallery, Ved says that he is very happy with the way the concept has shaped up and complemented his team for accomplishing the feat in record time. “Shoe Gallery is all about innovation. Our ultimate goal is to meet the customer expectations and to remain relevant in retail today, one needs to think out-of-the-box to enrich customer experience.”
