360 Mall bags Gold Award

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has named Kuwait-based Tamdeen Group’s 360 Mall as a Gold winner in the NOI Enhancement/Leasing category at the 2015 Middle East and North Africa Shopping Centre and Retailer Awards.

360 Mall received the Gold Award for its successful “New Locations! New Money” specialty leasing campaign. The mall creatively adapted unused locations inside the shopping centre and external car parks, to host innovative exhibitions generating substantial increments in leasing revenues.

“These exhibitions became a strong footfall driver and a major source of revenue for 360 Mall, accounting for 12.38% of total specialty leasing revenue in 2014. We are really proud of this accomplishment,” says Ismail Saddiq, DGM speciality leasing GLA Property Management Co. W.L.L.

Over forty exhibitions, mainly by Kuwaiti entrepreneurs, have made the mall a destination for wealthy Kuwaiti families who are also the mall’s key customers. Exhibitions included Ramadan crafts, confectionary, wedding, home decor, and furniture, high end jewellery, movie launches and more.

“360 MALL is delighted to be recognised regionally for being a leader and an innovator in the retail real estate space. We pay a lot of attention to detail when it comes to visitor experience, which differentiates the mall. These high quality exhibitions are magnets that attract our core customers; high net worth Kuwaiti families giving them the shopping experience they desire,” adds 360 Mall marketing manager Claudia Lopusinska.
