QBIC’s (Qatar Bahrain International Cinema) flagship cinema CINECO 3 has opened in Doha at Al Khor Mall, part of the shopping mall division of UAE-based retail conglomerate Lulu Group International.

“Qatar is an important market for us. The grand launch of CINECO 3 is part of QBIC’s strategy of expanding its presence across the country,” says QBIC COO Khalil Amin. “With the recent launch at Al Khor Mall, QBIC’s presence in Qatar has expanded to 30 screens in three different locations. And we will continue our expansion strategy in the country, and will announce the opening of 13 additional screens very soon.”

All the cinemas of CINECO 3 are equipped with silver screen for 2D and 3D movies with the latest technology of 4K digital projection systems.

“The Al Khor Mall has served over 25 million shoppers and visitors since its opening three and a half years ago, and with the multiplex opening the visitor flow is going to further improve,” feels Mohamed Althaf, director of Lulu Group International. “Considering such high loyalty and patronage from the customers and majority of the families, the mall has also added new retail concepts to enhance the shopping experience.”
