New Grandiose supermarket and café opens in Dubai

UAE-based concept grocery retail chain, Grandiose has opened a new supermarket within a dedicated community centre in Jumeirah 2.

The Jumeirah store is amongst the largest in the Grandiose chain, providing the customers a wide collection of products from diverse origins. Grandiose emphasizes on promoting local products and has dedicated sections in its stores, that highlights such products. It is undergoing an aggressive expansion in the UAE and is in the process working with local producers and traders as partners.

In addition to the supermarket, the 40,000 square feet community centre includes Grandiose Café, Al Soufi Roastery Shop, Fade and Play Barber Shop, Oleander Flowers Shop, Champion Laundry Kiosk, a Noon collection point and a Grandiose pet shop and gardening corner.

The opening event was attended by Her Excellency Fatima Mohammed Tawakul – Ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for the Regions Sector, and His Excellency LOW Pit Chin, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore, Mr. Abdulla Saif Al Hathboor, Chairman of Al Hathboor Group alongside senior representatives of other industries in the UAE.

“ The culture of recycling that the chain lives by supports the circular economy and reduces waste and waste generation. I thank all the ones who are involved in this excellent work and in making this happen”, said Fatima Mohammed Tawakul.

“Despite difficult times, Grandiose is creating jobs and attractive career growth opportunities, as part of a very
ambitious development plan”, said Olivier Latour, CEO of Grandiose Supermarkets.

“Furthermore, customers can have their orders delivered to their doorstep by placing their orders from Grandiose via phone calls or WhatsApp chat on the store number directly.” He added.

In addition to the new store in Jumeirah 2, Grandiose currently operates 11 supermarkets in Dubai Marina Promenade, Marina Walk, Um Suqeim 1, Silicon Oasis, Barsha, Dubai Mall, Sports City, RAK Grove, Address Downtown, Masdar City and Reem Island (Abu Dhabi). The next store is set to open in December within Mina Port Wasl Properties.
