Namshi.com expands operations to GCC and Egypt

UAE-based online retailer of footwear and fashion products Namshi.com is  expanding its operations to ship to consumers across the GCC and  Egypt.

Namshi.com was launched in January this year to offer a wide range  of international brands and styles, many of which are exclusive brands  unavailable in regional retail stores. Most recently, the online store added  Polo Ralph Lauren for kids, Boxfresh and Pelle Moda to its catalogue of fashion  brands.

“We offer a diverse selection of brands from mainstream to  designer brands that suit any type of personal style,” says Hosam Arab,  co-founder of Namshi.com. “We currently offer shoe brands ranging from Sam  Edelman to Puma as well as clothing lines such as House of Dereon (singer  Beyonce Knowles’ line) and Motel Rocks. We also recently added a number of  cosmetics lines to our website, giving our customers a one-stop shopping  experience.”

“Our success thus far is a testament to the rise in  popularity of online shopping in the Arab World,” says Louis Lebbos, another  co-founder of Namshi. “We saw a great opportunity in the e-commerce space with  Arabs and expats living in the Middle East becoming increasingly comfortable  making online transactions. Now with both English and Arabic websites, our job  at Namshi is to make it easy for customers to enjoy the benefits of online  shopping by offering a wide selection of options with free shipping and  returns.”
