Muji now in Yas Mall

December 9, 2014 | By RetailME Bureau

Japanese retailer Muji opened store in Yas Mall, its first in Abu Dhabi. The shop features over 4,000 lifestyle products distinct for the store’s “no label quality goods” mark. Known for its skillful fusion of innovation and practicality, the retail import from Japan is known for bringing in a notion of simplicity and a sense of calm in everyday life. Its product ranges include fashion pieces, furniture, stationery, kitchenware, storage solutions and health and beauty.

Muji products are known for their unique Japanese creativity and functionality. For instance, the famous shrink wrap packaged as small cubes is ideal for traveling and hardly takes space in the luggage, while the Multi-cape can be worn in 14 different ways. Another MUJI best-seller is the travel neck cushion which comes in two options – the first one made with 0.5mm Styrofoam beads and the other a smart, easy to carry, light weight and foldable into pocket-sized travel pouch. Both of them are available in a large variety of colors. Muji’s stackable, packable and collapsible storage containers are also a popular staple amongst customers all over the world. The products are brought together through a careful selection of materials, streamlined processes and simplified packaging.

As with its products, the Muji store reflects a natural environment through a mix of building materials such as wood, metal and ceramic echoing the essence of the brand’s philosophy in modesty and understated style.
