Magic Planet launches region’s first hyper-immersive gaming experience
Majid Al Futtaim and Immersive Gamebox have launched seven ‘Gameboxes’ in two Magic Planet locations in City Centre Mirdif, Dubai and City Centre Al Zahia, Sharjah today (January 20). This will be the region’s first hyper-immersive gaming experience offering guests access to a completely new genre of group entertainment.
‘Gameboxes’ are interactive digital smart rooms featuring cutting-edge technologies, including patented touch screens, 3D motion tracking and surround sound to deliver a shared gaming experience. Each ‘Gamebox’ can cater to groups of two to six players.
Players can choose from 12 different experiences in IGB’s growing library of licensed and original IP games created by its in-house studio. All titles will be available at Magic Planet. What’s more, IGB will also be providing localised versions of these games in Arabic.
